Congratulations to McKenzie Fears for finishing 2nd in the 400 meters at a new personal best time of 66 seconds.

Good Evening Everyone 

This Saturday we complete in Flagstaff, the start time is scheduled for 5 30 pm at Northern Arizona University. Thr bus is scheduled to leave the school at 1:00 pm. The athletes should be a the school by 12 45 pm at the latest. Everyone should be dressed in uniform covered by a sweat suit.  In addition please have something to chnage into after the completion.   Food and money are need because it is going to be a long day and night.  we will be going out to eat after the event as a team.   If the event ends at 10pm, we will stop to eat for 30 to 45 minutes. Then the team will return on the bus to the school. The estimated travel time is 3 hours 10 minutes.

If there are any parents that can help provide assistance with snacks, Gatorade and water the help will be greatly appreciated.  

I want to congratulate everybody on our first event on Wednesday, the team had great success in both boys and girls events. I am very proud of the effort that each of our athletes exhibited in there first event at the AIA level of competition.

It was a solid night for the Warriors Track Teams, boys finished 5th and the girls finished 4th. There were some very impressive performances from Jorge Sosa finishing 1st in the 3200 meters, 2nd in the 1600 meters,and anchored the 4x800 relay to a victory. Also on the relay where Angel Bautista who finished 8th in the 1600 meters, Jon Wealing who finished 6th in the 200 meter and 4th in the 400 meter Caden Edgerton who also finished 3rd in the 3200 meter race. On the ladies side great preformances all the way around, Beatriz Pacovski finished 4th in the 100 meters with a personal best time,and 3rd in the 200 meter, McKenzie Fears finished 3rd in the 400 meters and 800 meters, also 4th in the 1600 meters, Meadow Luna finished 4th in the 300 meter Hurdles and 1st in the Discus, Michaela Hall finished 4th in the Long Jump. Its was a wonderful evening everyone did extremely well, despite the very difficult weather conditions. Very proud of the whole team.
