The Warriors played their hearts out in a 0-3 loss to Pusch Ridge Thursday night. 

It was Senior Night for the Warriors and they came out firing on all cylinders. The starting lineup consisted of nine seniors and two juniors and they played like it. The energy levels were high as fans were allowed back into the stands and the boys wanted to put on a show for them. 

The Warriors had several chances early on in the game, commanding the midfield and seemingly passing with effortless ability through the Pusch Ridge defense to create those chances. 

Pusch Ridge got the scoring started when they played a through ball behind the Warrior defense and the forward slotted it under Elijah Ramirez (#31) in goal. The Warriors then came back firing and possessing the ball.  Again controlling the play and energy levels of the whole stadium before Pusch was able to score one more goal before half off of a deep throw in that was pinballed around the box before finding its way into the lower far corner. 

Halftime would see the Warriors make some defensive adjustments and come out in the second half with even more energy and passion than in the first. The Warriors totally controlled the second half. Moving the ball, getting shots, possessing through the middle of the field and the wings. They just couldn’t get their shots past the goalkeeper.

Pusch Ridge scored again with three minutes left in the game when the referee called advantage and Pusch took it putting the last goal of the night past Ramirez for the final goal of the night making it 0-3 to Pusch Ridge. 

The Warriors next and last regular season game will be Wednesday at ALA-Gilbert at 6 p.m.
