The Warriors defeated LFPA Gilbert 6-0 Wednesday afternoon earning their eighth win of the season and officially locking in a playoff spot for the first time in program history!

                Leah Nunley got the scoring started for the Warriors when her deflected shot from the top of the box found the bottom corner. For her first goal of the season!

                Eduardo Chacon then added a first half hat trick including a Penalty Kick, bringing his season tally to 18 and putting him in second place in the CAA Goals Scored standings.

                The first half finished at 4-0 with the defense playing exceptionally well. Daniel Macke locked things down at the center back position with Nathan Erickson and Kenedee Theabold holding down the right and left center back positions respectively.

                The Warriors came out in attack mode in the second half quickly getting off several shots narrowly missing the goal.

                Jael Sosa came on as a substitute in the second half and added two more goals for the Warriors bringing the score to 6-0 and his season tally to 4.

                The Warriors next (and final regular season) game is Friday evening in Yuma against Harvest Prep. The game will be held at Desert Sun Stadium at 5:30 and will be Harvest’s Senior Night.

                Playoffs will begin May 1^st at 5:00 p.m. at the Reach 11 complex in Scottsdale.
