ALA Ironwood Junior High wrestling team hit the mat for the first time on Thursday. The Warriors had a great season opening night as they outscored all 3 of their opponents in team scoring. ALA Ironwood faced off against ALA Queen Creek, Coolidge Junior High, and American Heritage Cottonwood. The Warriors defeated the Patriots of ALA Queen Creek 22-12, the other Patriots from American Heritage Cottonwood 42-30, and the Bears of Coolidge 46-9.

The Warriors will be on the mat again on Wednesday, October 26th at home as they host ALA Anthem, Heritage Maricopa, and J.O. Combs Middle School. Wrestling meet will start at 5:00 PM. Come out and support our Junior high wrestling team!
